Dreams
Langston
Hughes, 1902 - 1967
Hold fast to
dreams
For if dreams die
Life is a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.
For if dreams die
Life is a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.
Hold fast to
dreams
For when dreams go
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow.
For when dreams go
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow.
Flowers
Stare viciously at flowers
Regardless so flowers breathe
Blossoms from a double brief window
Without flexing sinks
Stare viciously at flowers
Regardless daily flowers crawl
Blossoms from a phone village
Exploding under mountains
This poem is one of my favorite poems and the author is
one of my favorite authors. This task was a bit difficult due to the
identifying of words. Overall I like how this task challenged my mind.
